Quote from Roman on 26/04/2024, 10:17Hi Alex, I wanted to thank you for your awesome content one more time. I was playing with cc trader yesterday and an idea came to my mind to use some kind of ea which would manage setting up trailing sl imediately. Also I have found some ea from Ronz. Sl TP. Taky a look ať it, maybe it will have a value for you and us 🙏. Roman

Quote from AnGe335 on 27/04/2024, 21:56Hmm, well – I would not add I static trailing stop here because the approach we are using here is not suitable for a “trailing stop” in a known manner. Imagine, you going long on a strong Dollar, alle the related pairs move a little bit different so toiling stop would be counter productive. I would suggest to add a “trailing stop” on the Equity target function.
Example: Now we can set a certain target like 5% i.e., when there would be a ability to safe let’s say 2% when the 5% is reached, when 7% is reaches 4% should be saved and so on, this so a trailing stop on profit percent and also a step measured in percent, this would make sense.
For now I´m working on a robust strategy with the currency strength combined with Stochastics, still testing, also MTF Stochastics… Keep you guys updated here!
Cheers, Andi

Quote from AnGe335 on 28/04/2024, 11:43Yeah, every currency show a different strength and in comparison to the Dollar and every currency move different so the only effective way would be trail it per equity vs. balance percentage 👍
In that way we can secure peofits AND catch bigger moves, standard trailing would limit profits a lot.

If use simple one pair trailing in final we will receive only minus that grow , closed trailing will not recover it. Here like basket target is more important and also all based at risk that use each pair cost of pip to do such basket trading… without this no sence

you mean do trailing using 5% and Step 1%
Example if profit = 5% EA look ar 5-1% = 4% and once Equity do from +5% to +4% (-1% from Target) we cloase all?
